Clínicas (CNCC)

Caribbean Neurocognitive Comprehensive Center (CNCC) goals includes to provide swallowing intervention and, speech and language therapy services to underserved community members suffering chronic diseases such as Parkinson, Alzheimer, stroke and heart attack survivors in need of rehabilitative services, health related education, counseling.

The CNCC at Universidad Ana G. Méndez, Recinto de Gurabo has experienced a significant development since its inception.  CNCC serves the academic and neighboring communities, the CNCC started the fall of 2014. 

Our cllinicians will be available to offer workshops, courses, orientations and mentoring to the community. Also, students can visit CNCC as an opportunity to offer them a clinical site experience (shadowing or preceptorship) in a real health care setting.
